Because of its remote location, Hummingbird House retreat rentals offer guaranteed privacy and seclusion and the convenience of management on-site in a private residence or just a phone call away. Management is there when needed, and invisible when not. All rentals offer optional educational services in the arts, wellness and nature studies, and/or spa, meal and transportation services. Additional rates apply. Special packages are available.

RENTAL POLICY:

Each person in a party must register prior to arrival. A parent, guardian or group chaperone must accompany all children under 18 years old.

PAYMENT: A deposit is required to confirm reservations. Stays of 2-4 nights require one night’s deposit. A two nights deposit is required for 5- 7 night stays. Total balance is due 2 weeks before arrival.

CANCELLATIONS: Monies are fully refundable (minus any credit card fees) if cancellation occurs 2 weeks prior to arrival. Thereafter, the renter has the option of applying any rental deposit or partial payments to a future alternative date if available at time of cancellation. Damage Deposit or Property Damage Insurance Coverage is fully refundable upon cancellation.

CARE OF PROPERTY: In booking your stay you agree that you will take care of the property and ensure that no damage is done or that no articles are removed and that all members of the party will abide by house rules posted by management.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT OPTION #1:
5 NIGHT – WEEKLY RENTAL, $250, refundable in full upon owner / management approved inspection. If damages are found you will be notified and cost of damages will be deducted from the security deposit.  Repair receipts will be forwarded with your refund. Your credit card may be charged for costs of damages higher then the security deposit paid. Your refund will be mailed or your charge card credited 7-10 days after your departure. Security deposit cannot be applied to any outstanding balance.
3 – 4 NIGHT RENTAL: $250, Pre-authorization on renter’s credit card.
Renter will not be charged unless damages are found and renter is notified.

Property Damage OPTION #2: PROPERTY DAMAGE INSURANCE COVERAGE - As a low cost alternative for protection for both owner and renters, property damage insurance is provided through CSA Travel Protection for a one-time payment of $49 for $3000 protection, $59 for $5000 maximum level of coverage. Insurance fee is added to the total rental fee and is payable to owner prior to arrival. Renter and owner receives certificate of confirmation / proof of coverage from insurance company via email. Renter agrees to report damages to owner. Owner files claim. If rental cancellation occurs, insurance fee is fully refundable prior to arrival. Details: www.propertydamageprotection.com

ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT: Cash, Traveler's Checks, Visa, Discover and Master Card using Google Check-out Services. No checks please without prior approval. Please note: Credit card charges will post in the name of KGA Studios, llc, agency for Whispering Springs Haven, llc. Both entities are fully owned by Karen Gambale’ Adezio
